A discrete bumper
mounted camera displays the rear view image onto a 4 inch TFT- LCD colour
monitor. This monitor is integrated within a rear view mirror. Activation
occurs automatically when reverse gear is selected or by operating a manual
on/off switch.
The Mobiletron mirror
also features 'hands free' mobile phone communication. Simply plug you
mobile phone into the 3.5mm socket to enable hands free operation through
a built in microphone and speakers with volume control. (You may require
an adaptor depending on the model of phone).
The mobiletron monitor
has an AV input to either input a second camera or to interface external
devices such as DVD players (only when stationary) or display route guidance
from GPS navigation systems with sound via the inbuilt speakers.
