650 entry-level 'Thatcham Category-1' system meets and exceeds the highest
standards of the UK insurance industry, and installing one may qualify
you for discounted vehicle insurance as a result.
The Clifford car
alarm Concept 650 built-in tandem immobiliser circuit is self-arming soon
after you park so that your vehicle always remains protected, and these
main electronics also reside in an armoured-steel enclosure as an added
security measure.
Uniquely the Clifford
Concept 650 system is now offered with three separate sensor-package options
so you can select the most suitable protection for your specific requirements;
Choose from Ultrasonic interior movement sensing, Dual-Zone Proximity
which includes external warn-away zone, or combined Glass Tamper and Tilt
& Motion sensor packages – or perhaps even combine two or more options
to be really secure!

We have discontinued the Clifford
Concept 650 and Intelliguard 950 and replaced them with the Clifford
Viper 480 which comes with an LCD key fob to monitor and display the

| Most UK
specification cars less than 10 years old will have a factory fitted CAT2
immobiliser so fitting a category 2 to 1 alarm upgrade will bring the car
up to full Thatcham CAT1 status, however you can still fit a full category
1 alarm and immobiliser to a car with an existing CAT2 immobiliser already
installed as the price difference can be as little as £10 and some
insurers may insist on it. |
If you
have key operated central locking installed the alarm key fob will operate
the locks as well as the alarm to give full remote central locking. For
cars that already have remote control fitted the new high security alarm
key fobs are all you need to lock and unlock the car. Installing an alarm
to operate from the existing remotes is possible on some cars but can work
out more expensive. |

| If you
have electric window closure fitted the new alarm remote control will operate
them as before. For cars without window closure we can install a window
closure module for around £50 to close windows when the doors are
locked. |
A Thatcham
alarm comes with perimeter and interior sensors as standard but there are
extra inputs to fit extra sensors such as; dual zone pre warning bleep,
glass break detector, tilt or motion sensor. A radio or SMS pager can also
be installed and connected to the output. |
